SPEAKERS’ CORNER
26.04.2026
Speakers’ Corner in London’s Hyde Park is today a global symbol of democracy and freedom of speech. Since a resolution passed by the London Parliament in 1872, people have been allowed to speak publicly and loudly here—to persuade, provoke, convince, or lecture on politics, religion, society, or pressing threats—be it seriously, humorously, or whimsically. Following this model, we would like to create a space for topics that move people, that burn under their nails and weigh on their hearts. For words and images—thought-provoking, honest, quirky, or poetic—that want and need to be shared. For questions and exclamations. For discussions, networking, and exchange. We look forward to welcoming representatives from the scene with diverse artistic backgrounds and a wide range of concerns.
Speakers’ Corner takes place as part of HKX Vol. 3, funded by the Performing Arts Fund with support from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and Media.
