Yves Ytier studied contemporary dance and baroque violin at Folkwang University of Arts Essen, among other places. His dual studies enabled him to switch between his roles as choreographer, dancer, and musician. He has worked with the Susanne Linke Company, the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn, and Concerto Köln, where he also performs as concertmaster. His ensemble “Europa Danzante,” received the Young Talent Award at the 2019 Potsdam Music Festival.
