Deaf composer, performer, and social educator Matthias (MaZ) Ranner works with low frequencies, flow art, and visual language with the understanding that sound is a physically experiential practice. His work combines artistic research, inclusion, and body awareness. As an advocate for disabled leadership, he creates self-determined, inclusive spaces and develops formats in which music, movement, and sign language open up new shared fields of experience—beyond hearing and normative approaches.
