Christoph Stöber studied piano at the Cologne University of Music and Dance. He was the long-standing pianist of the ensemble hand werk and, in this capacity, performed at numerous renowned contemporary music festivals. In addition to his role as pianist for uBu, he also adapts larger works for piano trio. Compositions by Christoph Stöber have been broadcast on Deutschlandfunk, WDR, and at the Cologne Philharmonic. He has been performing as a singer-songwriter under the name Astronaut since 2020.
