Fifteen people are sitting around a festively laid table, perhaps they have come to this place together, perhaps they have never seen each other before. There is plenty of food and drink. Or is something missing? Perhaps something intangible, non-material? Or something very tangible? What does lack mean in a world of abundance? Where does it manifest itself? And for whom at all? And what effect does it have? Using various performative methods, PROVIANT opens up a dialogue that uses language – but above all goes beyond it – to make it possible to experience personal memories and experiences from different, even alien, realities of life.
