Roman Pfeifer composes, directs, produces, and researches. His work spans from chamber music to electronics. He collaborates with artists from various disciplines, employing a procedural approach that incorporates sound, instruments, movement, voice, light, space, and perspective. The company Kammerelektronik, founded in 2012, is at the heart of his creative work, for which he conceives and composes concert performances in chamber music format. Roman Pfeifer studied composition with Nicolaus A. Huber and Dirk Reith at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. Since 2004, he has taught composition, analysis, and notation there.
