Nina Rühmeier
Nina Rühmeier studied Theater Studies, Modern History, and Modern German Literature at the Free University of Berlin and the Université de Paris VIII, Vincennes-Saint-Denis. From 2006 to 2011, she worked as a dramaturgy assistant, then as a dramaturge at the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin. Subsequently, she worked as a freelance dramaturge, including at the Schauspielhaus Zürich and for the theater collective Franz von Strolchen. From 2013 to 2018, she held a fixed-term position at the Schauspiel Köln (Artistic direction by Stefan Bachmann). Today, she works freelance as a translator and dramaturge, collaborating recently with directors such as Philine Velhagen, Rainald Grebe, Armin Petras, Monika Dobrowlanska, the group subbotnik, and the collective Polar Publik, of which she is a founding member.
