Max Kurth

Acting

Max Kurth studied acting at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg until 2020. He lives and works in Hamburg as a freelance actor, collaborating with artists including Jörg Pohl, Elias Geißler, Alina Sobotta, Sophie Glaser, Elias Perrig, Caro Thum and Anton Pleva.

Further productions have been created at institutions such as the Staatstheater Mainz, Schauspielhaus Wien, Thalia Theater Hamburg, Theater Magdeburg and Kampnagel Hamburg. These works have been invited to renowned festivals including Plug&Play Festival, Fast Forward Festival, FIAT Festival Montenegro and Unidram Festival.

His collaboration with Rieke Süßkow led to the founding of the Hallimasch Komplex. Most recently, he toured with the monologue piece You With the Sad Eyes, directed by Ilario Raschèr, which was also invited to several festivals. He also appeared in the world premiere of ROMBO by Esther Kinsky, directed by Jakob Altmeyer.
