Laris Bäucker creates, conceptualizes, and performs in the realm of contemporary music and performance art. They study composition at the University of the Arts Berlin with Mathias Hinke and learned in Zurich with Isabell Mundry. There, they organized the lecture series “Let’s talk about: Mental Health” to create new, non-hierarchical discussion platforms. Since its founding in May 2023, they have been an active member of the Freies Musiktheater network and advocate for improving study conditions at German art universities. Recent productions include “So Beautiful” at the Schauspielhaus Zurich (4/2023), “Polypulse” at the C-Lab in Taipei (11/2023), and “Mussage” in Berlin (4/2024).
