Founded in 2009, Ensemble Garage seeks answers to artistic, social, and aesthetic questions that shape our times. At the same time, it searches for means and methods with which to create compositional fields of expression today.

Since its founding, it has provided innovative artistic impetus by focusing on reflections on (post)internet society with all its digital media manifestations and by playing a decisive role in shaping the development of new music toward transmedial, theatrical, and performative forms of production.

Ensemble Garage is funded by the Ministry of Culture and Science of North Rhine-Westphalia.
