Alexis Ludwig, born in 1978 in Leipzig, has been living in Cologne since 2013, where he works as a musician, DJ, and electronics tinkerer. He crafts his own instruments and performs in various configurations, following the concept of site-specific performance, in department stores, on stages, and along highways. Under the continuously evolving artistic persona Graneg Sandpapier, established since 2018, he releases recordings and operates the micro-label Eremitenteam. Since 2023, he has been collaborating with Juliane Meckert on the project Ensemble Dégénéré, where a blend of radio play, improvisation, and concrete noise emerges as a stage program and audio feature, engaging with the historical concepts of time and zone.
